Reviews

This pic opposes ii unlike too opposed views of the world: that of Jimmy Gralton, who apart from wanting to opened upward a trip the lite fantastic hall, is too a left-wing idealist. Although Ken Loach makes non mystery of his sympathies inwards this movie, every bit usual he remains even-handed, lets the opposition induce got their say, too never makes the conservative side look every bit ridiculous or stupid. In fact the pump of the pic is the confrontation betwixt Jimmy Gralton too Father Sheridan, which despite the depth of conflict, is fundamentally based on a grudging usual respect.
